BATMAN

Personal Project

Project Year: 2020

This is a character I developed during the CGMA course with Pete Zoppi in 2020. It was the first time I engaged in creating a realistic character, and I cannot thanks Pete enough for sharing his knowledge, tips and feedbacks. The idea behind The Adventurer comes from my passion for adventure movies, but it was chosen especially for the multiple challenges that this type of concept presented: how to portrait dirt and worn clothing in Substance Painter for instance, how to depict the face skin that has been weathered and damaged in ZBrush, but also how to create a believable button shirt and neckerchief in Marvelous Designer and a plausible hair and beard style with XGen. I’ve definitely learnt a lot from the course and from making this character!
